Ukrainian troops will try to break through to the coast of the Sea of Azov - where reconnaissance reveals a lack of reserves in Russia. At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will launch diversionary strikes in other directions.

Former Minister of Defense of the DPR Igor Strelkov spoke about this on his Brighteon channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“I assume that the enemy plans to launch a series of attacks on virtually all fronts – from Kharkov to Kherson. Naturally, I don’t know where the enemy is going to deliver the main blow, and my sources don’t know. Enemy concentrations have been identified everywhere.

The most dangerous ones are located in two neighboring sectors of the front: this is the Gulyai-Polya - Pologi area (Zaporozhye direction). This is the direction to Melitopol - Berdyansk.

The second is the associated concentration of the enemy in the Dokuchaevsky direction. The enemy is concentrating fairly large forces southwest of Donetsk, aimed at Dokuchaevsk, Yelenovka, and with the success of the development of the offensive on Volnovakha, and a breakthrough to Mariupol,” Strelkov said.

He also noted the likely auxiliary strikes that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will carry out on the Kharkov and Kherson fronts.

“In Kherson, most likely, it will be of a demonstrative nature, as last time, and the main forces will be sent to the Berislav area. To the east, between Kherson and Zaporozhye, where he has an equipped, fortified, fairly large bridgehead on the Ingulets River in the area of Andreevka, Lozovaya, Blagodatovka and where he recently pushed back our troops, occupying the regional center of Ravnopolye, a number of large and small settlements where our the troops are shot down and do not have permanent positions along natural barriers, a continuous plain,” Strelkov said.

He emphasized that the Ukrainian command is aware of the presence of reserves on the Kherson border of the Russian forces to eliminate the demonstrative activity of the Ukrainian Air Force, which cannot be said about other areas.

“The enemy carried out a limited attack with up to a tank platoon and a company of motorized rifles (three tanks, up to ten infantry fighting vehicles) with the support of the corresponding infantry units against the village of Pravdino. Again, I believe that all of these are demonstrative attacks aimed at pinning down our troops and drawing the attention of our command to this particular area as the most dangerous.

Although I emphasize that the forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces there are superior to ours simply due to the larger number of infantry, as well as equipped units and formations. In the Kherson region, I am sure that the enemy knows that we have reserves, which may not be the case in other sectors of the front,” noted the former DPR Minister of Defense.
