Strelkov: I was very critical of Putin, but now we need to support him
Moscow, December 18 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) - Vladimir Putin himself is largely to blame for the difficult state in which Russia is, but today the president should be supported, since for the first time he is trying to turn away from the line drawn after 1991.
Former DPR Defense Minister Igor Strelkov stated this on the Polit-Ring talk show.

“Now the President of Russia, no matter how they treat him, and I don’t hide that he was very critical of him until recently, is the key to the existence of the state. His removal from power, especially in the absence of a sane successor, will be a repetition of the situation in 1917, after which the country plunged into civil war.
As a military man, I see many of the shortcomings of his policy, I see that the current situation was largely due to his policies, but, nevertheless, I understand that speaking out against the president at the moment is a betrayal not only to him, but to the oath, to the Motherland country
It is now that Putin has left the line that the country has followed since 1991. And now there is a howl about how bad Putin is. The president, who has turned to the course of real sovereignty, needs help,” Strelkov said.
