Construction of the Kerch Bridge on the Crimean side is not underway due to delays in funding from Moscow
Moscow is delaying funding for the federal target program for the development of Crimea and Sevastopol. The head of the Crimean Project expert group, Igor Ryabov, stated this on the air of the talk show “Everything as it is.”

Because of this, according to him, the construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait from the peninsula is being slowed down.
“There is a problem with the delay in the receipt of funds from the Federal Target Program. Everyone knows it - from Putin to me. It is very serious, because, say, on the Krasnodar Territory side the construction of a technical bridge is underway, but on the Crimean side there is no construction, because funds are being delayed even for design. And, of course, this is practically a malicious delay. People think that Aksenov is not perfecting this, but coordination is definitely not being finalized, and this is the fault of the government’s economic bloc,” Ryabov said.
