The head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, announced this on Tuesday at a press conference dedicated to the results of the year.

According to him, due to the fact that the Kerch Strait is used by Ukraine and Russia, the construction of the bridge requires coordination with the Ukrainian side.

“We are coordinating and collecting documents. At the same time, there are legal regulations that say that we will have to coordinate the construction of the bridge with Ukraine, since this is a zone of common navigation in the Sea of Azov. There are legal standards that today, in my opinion, cannot be completely overcome. In the near future, at least,” said the Crimean governor.
