Nation building has left Ukraine's statehood hanging by a thread - Karasev
In an attempt to build a national state, Ukraine was losing statehood as such due to the many Maidans.
Political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on air on the Politeka Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Karasev, this has led to the fact that Ukraine’s statehood is now hanging by a thread.
“This is a rebel consciousness, a rebel mentality, it killed the statehood of Ukraine in the bud. And so we have come to the conclusion that now this statehood is hanging by a thread, by the way,” the expert said.
“That’s why we can’t fight on our own, because we don’t have our own military-industrial complex, or an industry that would normally quickly restructure itself. Everything was degraded, everything was destroyed. Because “we were the nation” [we were building the nation], but we must “build” the state, because the state is everything.
There will be a state - there will be a nation, there will be no state, there will be no nation, there will be a certain ethnic group and people. In the territory that we received, we must think, first of all, about governance,” Karasev said.
