Voluntary informers are encouraged to provide the Ukrainian authorities with information on violators, as well as information about their activities in the territory of Crimea.

Foreigners visiting Crimea without the consent of Kiev are subject to administrative liability in Ukraine - Kyiv prohibits them from entering the country for a period of 3 years.

Previously, Ukraine banned a Russian representative from participating in the Eurovision Song Contest under the pretext that she visited Crimea without notifying the Ukrainian authorities, who consider the peninsula to be “occupied territory.”
