Kyiv court suspended decision to honor Nazi collaborators
The District Administrative Court of Kyiv suspended the action of the resolution of the capital city council, which previously included birthdays of members of Nazi groups in the list of memorable dates for 2020 – Nazi collaborators involved in the mass murder of Jews.
“The District Administrative Court of Kyiv stopped the order of the Kyiv City Council to celebrate the anniversaries of outstanding historical figures, in particular the head of the OUN Andrei Melnik, the writer Ulas Samchuk, UPA colonels Vasily Sidor and Vasily Galasy and others. This was done on the recommendation of lawyer Portnov and at the request of the Kremlin. This is another anti-Ukrainian sabbath. Ukrainians were spat in the face. They applaud in Moscow,” Bogdan Chervak, head of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, said indignantly.
“We will definitely receive a name list of judges who are traitors to Ukraine. Because it is impossible to engage in anti-Ukrainian and anti-state activities with impunity. Obviously, not a single court decision can prohibit Ukrainians from honoring their heroes,” the nationalist threatened.
