The Cyprus court banned Akhmetov from spending his own money
Ukrainian businessman Rinat Akhmetov was prohibited from spending more than 20 thousand euros per month on his needs, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This decision was made by the District Court of Nicosia (Cyprus).
The ban is reportedly related to the freezing of Akhmetov’s assets.
According to the text of the court decision, defendants can spend no more than 20 thousand euros to cover legal costs.
If the defendants are individuals, they have the right to spend an additional 20 thousand euros on their own personal needs, such as accommodation, food, etc.
The court also allowed the use of another 20 thousand euros monthly to ensure the uninterrupted operation of companies and enterprises owned by the defendants.
