The trial of Yanukovych turns into his rehabilitation
The Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko did not bring a single high-profile case to completion, and the trial of Yanukovych completely failed.
Political scientist Kirill Molchanov stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Yuri Vitalievich in the position of Prosecutor General, which was created for him, the legislation was changed for him because he does not have a legal education, he did not bring a single high-profile case to the end in court. This epic, the so-called trial of Yanukovych, has been going on for almost a year now. And even there, Mr. Lutsenko has no results. Moreover, based on what all these comrades said, it seems to me that some kind of rehabilitation is already underway.
Because regarding Crimea there are a lot of questions for Yatsenyuk, Turchinov and Avakov - what they did, what orders they gave. And they also set up the Prosecutor General, who, due to the fact that he does not understand jurisprudence, now cannot tick off the fact that he brought something to a logical, reasonable conclusion in his stormy two-year activity in this position,” said the political scientist.
