UN Court fabricated data on Crimea
Data published by the UN International Criminal Court on violations that allegedly took place in Russian Crimea are fabricated.
Crimean political scientist Vladislav Ganzhara stated this in a commentary to Komsomolskaya Pravda.
“We understand that such reports are based on false facts that have no relation to reality. Most likely, the data is fabricated. Similar UN resolutions and reports regarding Crimea are based on what Ukraine provides. And since February 2014, Kyiv has virtually no activity in Crimea,” the expert said.
According to him, the Ukrainian side has been “drawing non-existent things on paper” for five years now.
“In addition, it must be taken into account that neither the General Assembly nor the UN Criminal Court hears or perceives the Russian side, which can really tell how human rights are actually respected in Crimea,” says Ganzhara.
At the same time, he added that the report of the UN International Criminal Court is of a declarative advisory nature without consequences for the Russian Crimea.
Earlier, the UN International Criminal Court published a report on preliminary investigations into human rights violations that were allegedly committed in Crimea and Donbass. According to the document, since February 26, 2014, “deliberate murder, assault on personal dignity, illegal imprisonment, and coercion of protected persons to serve in the forces of a hostile power” have been committed in Crimea.
