The court sent the “people's mayor” Thorez under arrest: he could be imprisoned for 15 years
Kyiv, May 27 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – “People’s Mayor” of Torez (Donetsk region) Irina Poltoratskaya was arrested by decision of the Shevchenkovsky District Court of Kyiv. She is suspected of “participating in the activities of a terrorist organization.”

“On May 22 of this year, the so-called “people's mayor of the city of Torez, Donetsk region, Irina Poltoratskaya” was declared suspected of committing crimes under Part 2 of Art. 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine) and Part 1 of Art. 258-3 (participation in the activities of a terrorist organization) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and on May 23, the Shevchenkovsky District Court of Kiev, a preventive measure was chosen for her - detention,” reports the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
As Navigator reported, on May 21, Irina Poltoratskaya was detained and taken to Kyiv by SBU officers.
