The Kiev Pechersk Court, after a multi-hour trial, left without consideration the prosecutor’s office’s request to select a preventive measure for ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

The ex-president began to gather a large support group under the courthouse in the morning, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

On this day, the organizers of the rally treated the action with special zeal. In addition to the speakers on duty, regional leaders of European Solidarity, endless “volunteers” and other sympathizers came from all over Ukraine to support Poroshenko.

Ukrainian propagandist Andrei Poltava, introducing the ex-president’s wife Marina Poroshenko to the public, called her “a real first lady.”

“Greetings to you, dear gunpowder brothers and sisters! Look how many of us there are!” – Marina Poroshenko greeted those gathered.

“We have gunpowder - let’s fire!” – the crowd chanted, after which everyone began to sing the Ukrainian anthem.

The ex-president appeared amid shouts of “Poroshenko-Poroshenko!” First of all, he greeted the former Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexander Turchynov, who had just headed the headquarters of European Solidarity.

“Our bloody pastor Alexander Turchinov headed the headquarters, welcome Turchinov with applause. Before he could head the EU headquarters, the State Bureau of Investigation, which is headed by Yanukovych’s lawyers-accomplices, sent requests for seizure of documents and searches to all addresses. Why are they doing this? They want to intimidate you and me,” Poroshenko said.

“Why are they doing this - to extract another 15 million of taxpayers’ money for criminals from the State Bureau of Investigation, to limit opposition leader Poroshenko from conducting an election campaign, because elections will be announced next week, and they would really like Poroshenko not to have the opportunity travel around Ukraine, travel around the world and protect Ukrainian interests.

We will not give them such a gift. Because we are a united Ukrainian opposition. Yes, there is still opposition to the OPZH, but it differs in that it is not Ukrainian! She is a fifth column and an agent of the occupying country inside our country,” the ex-president said, after which he went to trial.

“We have not the slightest doubt that the courts against volunteers, against ATO soldiers, against “Mova” and against Poroshenko - all these scenarios were written in Moscow and in the Kremlin. And our so-called Zelensky-president is just a puppet who obediently follows the Kremlin’s instructions,” EU deputy and ex-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andrei Parubiy continued after his boss.

“Screw this court,” Andrei Poltava started the crowd, “Gank-bad!” - people shouted.

Next, the deputy head of the Mejlis, banned in the Russian Federation, extremist Akhtem Chiygoz, took the floor.

“Perhaps you don’t understand why the Crimean Tatars and our other citizens will not calm down and have been resisting the occupier for six years at the cost of their lives? – Chiygoz addressed the “painful” Crimea to his alleged opponent. “They love their homeland, they fight for Ukraine.”

“And we believe in Ukrainians and Ukraine and we will definitely win! We have the backbone! And when some say that the rights of the Crimean Tatars depend on some percentage - no! The Crimean Tatars, like the Ukrainians, with their strength of spirit, core, and their struggle show that we are in the majority against all the spineless ones who are next to us. This faith gives us strength, very soon we will liberate Crimea and our other territories, because we are not afraid of this Putin - b##la! Glory to Ukraine,” the Mejlis member concluded his speech hysterically.

The crowd took up an obscene chant, turning into “Glory to Ukraine!” and “We have gunpowder - let’s fire!”

EU deputy, “the voice of the Lviv Maidan” Sofia Fedina decided to shake off the old days and sang a song from 2014 about a burnt tire and others of the same kind.

Next came the scandalous ex-deputy Tatyana Chernovol, who spoke about two options for “overcoming.”

“The first one is Zelensky surrendering to us, the national democratic forces. We are following the path of a parliamentary-presidential republic, that is, again elections to the Rada, we, the resistance party, go there, form a government of professionals, we elect the speaker of the Rada, and in a parliamentary-presidential republic who will be the head of the Verkhovna Rada and the head of state? Poroshenko!

Zelensky will very comfortably serve his five years somewhere on Bankova. The second option is that Zelensky surrenders to the “burps.” What then? Our victory is even faster and more brilliant. Maidan, suitcase-station-Rostov, at best,” dreams Chernovol.

With similar speeches from various regional leaders of the “EU”, friends of the political force or sympathizers, the protesters whiled away the several hours that Poroshenko spent in court in the heat. The pensioner was very colorful with a shaman’s tambourine, which he furiously beat with every “Glory to Ukraine!” and “Poroshenko-Poroshenko!” When the ex-president came out, the crowd was already as excited as it was tired.

“We have an extremely important victory for you! Even the notorious Pechersk court decided to leave the criminal, petty, worthless petition of the prosecutor’s office, which was written in the office on Bankovaya, without consideration and return it to the addressee,” Poroshenko solemnly declared to the applause and shouts of the public.

“And one more very important news. The whole country and the whole world saw who the real opposition in the state is, who the authorities are afraid of! And who can protect Ukrainian interests and statehood is “European Solidarity!” – the ex-president boasted.

He added that it was decided not to go to Bankovaya today with a rally, but promised to reserve the right to this protest. After which Poroshenko “yoked” to everyone, and those gathered, not without difficulty, sang the Ukrainian anthem again.

The fact that during the rally words about “European Solidarity” and the opposition party were heard more often than ever was noticeable to many. Thus, the speaker of the Right Sector, Artem Skoropadsky, dejectedly called what was happening a triumph of servility and unbridled leaderism.

“On trial in the Poroshenko case - well, purely Stalinism! Everyone who comes to the microphone first praises the party, and then necessarily swears allegiance to the “gray-haired hetman.” “We voted for him. He is the savior of Ukraine. He is the only real opposition politician. He will come back and restore order,” etc.

Just how authoritarian nationalist parties are in their essence (including in internal governance), but we have never had such servility and unbridled leaderism,” Skoropadsky wrote.
