The trial in the Buzina murder case was again postponed for a month
The Shevchenkovsky District Court of Kyiv postponed the consideration of criminal proceedings on charges of neo-Nazis Andrei Medvedko and Denis Polishchuk in the murder of writer Oles Buzina to June 7, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“...The court hearing has been postponed. Date of appointment: June 7, 9th hour,” the panel of judges said.
Today the victim did not appear at the court hearing due to her absence from the city. The defense, in turn, demands that the case be heard only in the presence of a jury.
Let us recall that on June 27, 2017, the Kyiv prosecutor’s office completed a pre-trial investigation into Andrei Medvedko and Denis Polishchuk, who are suspected of murdering journalist Oles Buzina.
Let us recall that on April 16, 2015, in the afternoon, journalist and writer Oles Buzina was shot in the courtyard of his own house. He received 4 gunshot wounds, one of which was to the head. The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced suspicions of the murder of Buzina to two Kiev residents - ATO militants and active members of the neo-Nazi group C14 - Andrei Medvedko and Denis Polishchuk. The suspects were detained on June 18.
