The trial on the fabricated case of the political prisoner of labor leader Alexander Bondarchuk was postponed again
The trial in the case of political prisoner Alexander Bondarchuk, editor of the newspaper “Working Class” and people’s deputy of several convocations, has again been postponed. Bondarchuk is accused of encroaching on the territorial integrity of Ukraine. The defense claims that the case is fabricated under the so-called. the process of decommunization, the detention of prisoners and the trial are taking place in violation of European and international legislation. The Left Opposition held a rally at the courthouse. Recently, the Working Class party joined this association of leftist parties.

Representatives of the “Left Opposition” held a picket near the Kyiv Administrative Court, where staged hearings are being held in the case of Alexander Bondarchuk, editor of the newspaper “Working Class”.
The meeting was attended by Alexander Kononovich, one of the leaders of the “Left Opposition” (Volyn region), who was recently beaten by local Lutsk national fascists and is now undergoing treatment in the city of Kyiv.
In an interview with journalists, Alexander Kononovich, the brother of opposition politician Mikhail Kononovich, said: “Now they are fighting against the “Left Opposition” in two main directions. The first is when a person is sent to prison on trumped-up charges, as in the situation with Alexander Bondarchuk. The second is physical elimination or violence, general persecution, both in the media and through unbearable living conditions, destruction of personal life, as in the case of me. But the Poroshenko regime, just like the fascists during the Great Patriotic War, who tried to intimidate the Soviet people with Babyn Yar and Khatyn, received a completely different reaction from the people. Likewise, the Kiev junta will receive a harsh and adequate reaction from Ukrainians, when instead of fear comes hatred and the national-fascist occupiers are overthrown by popular, righteous anger. Neither I, nor our comrades, nor political prisoner Alexander Bondarchuk, nor the entire “Left Opposition” are giving up.”
