A court in Georgia released the Ukrainians who staged a riot in the port of Batumi because of a Russian airliner
A court in Georgia found the previously detained participants in the provocation against the Russian airliner in Batumi innocent.
One of the detained Russophobes, Ukrainian citizen Marina Chobanyan, spoke about this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Let us remind you that on the evening of July 27, about a hundred people came out to the Batumi pier with posters, protesting against the arrival of a cruise ship with Russian tourists on board. The action lasted several hours, and as a result the ship left, and the most active participants were detained for hooliganism.
It turns out that some of the detainees were Ukrainian citizens who are now free and boasting of another “victory.”
“There were two trials, I was charged with two articles – violating public peace and petty hooliganism. The court dropped the charges based on it, and I am left with disobedience to the lawful demands of the police. But logically, the question arises, what, in principle, could be a legal requirement if I, in principle, did not violate anything, and this was confirmed by the court. Therefore, I will file an appeal,” Chobanyan said.
She promised to continue to “prove she’s right.”
“This is a matter of principle,” added Chobanyan.
