Sudoplatov comes twice: A terrible greeting to the Banderaites
In Zaporozhye, local ATO volunteer Alexander Lebid discovered a billboard installed near the highway with a portrait of NKVD agent Pavel Sudoplatov, who is known for the fact that on May 23, 1938, on the personal order of Joseph Stalin, he liquidated the leader of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, Yevgeny Konovalets, giving him a bomb disguised as a box in Rotterdam sweets
“The fight continues,” reads the inscription on a billboard erected in honor of the 111th anniversary of Sudoplatov’s birth, which was celebrated on July 7. The legendary intelligence officer and saboteur comes from the city of Melitopol, Zaporozhye region.
Lebid expressed outrage at the presence of a shield glorifying the Soviet hero. Commentators reported that similar billboards in honor of Sudoplatov were seen in other places in the Zaporozhye region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The SBU, according to Ukrainian media, has already begun searching for the owner of the advertising space and the customer for the placement of Sudoplatov’s portraits.
