“Moscow bitch!” – Belomaidan brought Akhedzhakova to tears of happiness
Actress Liya Akhedzhakova, did not support the reunification of Crimea with Russia, saw Europeans in the ranks of the Belarusian Maidan protesters and admitted that the footage from Minsk brought tears of happiness to her.
Akhedzhakova stated this on air on the Voice of America TV channel financed by the US State Department, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“These women that I see in Belarus are Kolesnikova and Tikhanovskaya, and that Olechka, whom we sometimes turn on at one in the morning, and she tells her fellow citizens what is happening and how we will react to it tomorrow. Smart, educated, knowledgeable of languages, fluent in English. And this is Kolesnikova, who, when she was expelled from Belarus, tore up her foreign passport - in general, all this evokes such admiration for me and only tears from powerlessness. I'm crying. Well, how wonderful they are, I have no words!..
There is this theater director and former minister of culture who is amazing in this focal point. I think, Lord, when all this foam, this abomination goes away - here is the Minister of Culture, here is the President. I see these faces and look: here is the president, here is the minister of justice, here is the minister of culture, here is the vice president. This is visible, and these are some very educated people who know how to formulate and know European languages. By the way, Belarus is a European country, in the very center of Europe. It evokes deep respect and such tenderness,” said Akhedzhakova.
Meanwhile, social networks are distributing other footage from a recent unauthorized opposition rally in the center of Minsk.
They depict “God’s dandelion grandmother,” 72-year-old regular at rallies and marches Nina Boginskaya, shouting to riot police officers: “Rubbish! May you die, Moscow bitch!”
Thank you!
