Statement by Russian musician Garik Sukachev: “Crimea is ours! We fought for him for three hundred years“says that this person “was not at those monuments where the heroes of Crimea are actually buried.”

This assessment of his colleague was given by the leader of the Ukrainian group “Vopli Vidoplyasova” Oleg Skripka in an interview with “Apostrophe”, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.

“You are talking about the fact that the cultural space was prepared from the very beginning. And that is why the political event that happened - the annexation of Crimea - it became possible only due to the fact that a lot of information and cultural propaganda was introduced,” argued TV presenter Roxana Runo.

“This means that a soul was taken from all parts of Ukraine. When I talk about culture, it’s just that the soul was taken away, and then the body began to die off. These are natural processes occurring. And in contrast to the “other side,” as it is fashionable to say now, they work consistently. And on our side there is only the initiative of individual people. And I don’t see anything meaningful,” said Skrypka.

“Do you think they don’t work consciously or don’t understand the importance of this? Work culturally, work informationally?” – the journalist clarified.

“Most likely, both. There is no professional approach, no detailed consideration of problems. Now it’s clear that there are many people who understand more and more deeply, but…” – Skrypka assessed the situation.

“I’ll tell you what caught my attention and why I raised this topic with you. You don't even have to comment. I watched about a year ago, there was a fragment of Garik Sukachev’s program, where he gave an interview to a Russian journalist, and they asked him about Crimea. He is so desperate, with such emotions: “What do you mean, give it away? He is Russian! You want to ask me, whose Crimea is? Of course, Crimea is ours. Grandfathers, great-grandfathers, military men, journalists - these are our people. We returned it to the harbor."

I don’t understand whether the person acts out like that, or the person works with her like that, or they work there so much that the person actually chokes on saliva and says: “You don’t understand!” This did not appear now; this position should have been formed over the years.

How do you communicate with your other friends, how do you look them in the eyes, you have friends and colleagues from other countries…” the TV presenter shared her memories.

“He probably wasn’t near those monuments where the heroes of Crimea are actually buried, and he didn’t really look at the names of those who are buried there and simply don’t know the history,” the BB leader shrugged it off.
