A Sumy resident who was owed wages threatened to jump from a height of 30 meters
An employee of one of the enterprises in Sumy climbed onto the chimney of the boiler house of the Northern Industrial Hub and threatened to jump from a height of 30 meters if he was not paid back wages, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the communications department of the Sumy region police.
“A message about a potential suicide was received on line 102 from ordinary citizens,” the message says.
It turned out that the 34-year-old man who climbed the boiler pipe of the Northern Industrial Hub is an employee of one of the local enterprises.
“He threatened to jump from a height of 30 meters if he was not paid his back wages,” the police noted.
Law enforcement officers persuaded the man to go down to the ground and return to his family.
This fact was registered by the police and they are checking all the circumstances of the incident.
