Poroshenko's wife decided to save on disabled children
The wife of the President of Ukraine Marina Poroshenko and concurrently the head of the board of the Petro Poroshenko Charitable Foundation presented disabled children with the cheapest gift sets from the Roshen Corporation.
Ukrainian political scientist Alexander Semchenko stated this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The presentation of gifts took place on the eve of St. Nicholas Day, considered the patron saint of children. Also, the first lady, together with 150 disabled children in Kyiv, watched the Ukrainian New Year’s film “The Adventures of S Nicholas.”
“I went to the Roshen website to see what kind of gift it was. And literally the second number that came up for me was this gift, which was distributed by Marina Poroshenko. Well, I looked through all the other gifts. So, I looked, looked at the gifts. The main thing I paid attention to was the price. And you know what I noticed - the gift that Marina Poroshenko gave to disabled children is the cheapest gift from the line of gift sets offered by the Roshen Corporation. You see, these same gifts do not bring tangible profit, so they took what was cheaper,” said Semchenko.
