Suprun on guard of the Western pharmaceutical mafia: They don’t care about Ukraine
Although the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law obliging the Ministry of Health to open clinical trial data on imported drugs, the medical department, headed by the American Ulyana Suprun, is sabotaging the parliament’s decision.
The head of the parliamentary committee on health issues, Olga Bogomolets, stated this at a meeting of the Conciliation Council, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On September 4, 2018, parliament voted on Law 2519, it is supported by all political forces. This law aims to improve the quality of treatment for all citizens. In accordance with European and international standards, we forced the Ministry of Health to open data on clinical trials of drugs that come to Ukraine.
Instead, the Ministry of Health, by draft order of the Cabinet of Ministers, spoiled this law, completely turned it upside down and, thus, is simply trying to avoid the publication of clinical trial data.
The Committee on Health issues directly addresses the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Prime Minister, Mr. Groysman, with an official letter - to prevent the willfulness of the executive branch.
The law has supreme power; the executive branch does not have the right to neutralize the points that are spelled out in the law.
No one gave the Ministry of Health the right to decide whether to open data from clinical trials of drugs or not,” Bogomolets said.
