Assistant to the Russian President Vladislav Surkov proposed naming the new Russian strategic missile “Givi” in honor of the DPR hero Mikhail Tolstykh, who was killed by Ukrainian saboteurs, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Because there is such a hero of Donbass,” RIA Novosti quotes Surkov.
As Politnavigator reported, Russian President Vladimir Putin today, while reading out a message to the Federal Assembly, presented six types of new strategic weapons. Three of them do not yet have names, and Putin proposed organizing a competition on the website of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reports that voting will be launched in the near future.
