Surkov: The West itself will ask Russia to take away beggar Ukraine
Even during the euphoria of Western politicians over the successfully carried out coup in Ukraine in 2014, then-aide to the President of the Russian Federation Vladislav Surkov predicted to his counterparts that they would have to ask Moscow to take Kyiv back into its zone of influence.
Surkov stated this on air on the WarGonzo Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today we see, as we predicted before, that Russia is winning the international situation, that the world is really getting tired of Ukraine, of its begging, eternal discontent, inability to do something and not please anyone. They pleased neither us nor the West.
Once upon a time, at the beginning of the events in Ukraine, I said to one rather large German: “You are now so happy that you took Ukraine, but several years will pass and you will knock on our door and ask us to take it away.” This will happen one hundred percent, and it has already begun,” Surkov said.
Let us recall that earlier in Germany they stated that Europe is tired of Ukraine and understands that Kyiv interprets the Minsk agreements in a way that is convenient for it, but does not want to criticize “Independence”, since this will strengthen Russia’s position.
They also said in Kyiv that the West will breathe a sigh of relief if Ukraine implements the Minsk agreements, because anti-Russian sanctions will be lifted.
