Wedding in Malinovka: Ukraine is discussing Sentsov’s third marriage – to an American
Sentsov got married! – trumpet Ukrainian public pages and sections of gossip columns in the “Nezalezhnaya” media. Yes, yes, that same Crimean sub-terrorist, “prisoner of the Kremlin” and “film director” on minimum wage.
Just think, how cool, one of the readers will say, the tea is not Johnny Depp with his scandalous divorce proceedings with Amber Heard. That's how hardcore it is. However, let’s make allowances for the scale – what a country, what a gossip column.
The new wife, a certain Veronica Welch, has managed to acquire US citizenship, a racially correct Galician originally from Ivano-Frankivsk. His main place of work - as Ukrainian media write - is “a lawyer from Washington”, and more specifically, the director of advocacy at Ridgley Walsh, coordinator of the Euromaidan SOS project.
In general, from a socially close grant-eating environment, he can boast of a whole folder of certificates about the courses taken in the “political studios” named after Soros and a PhD in political sciences. So, this marriage is not at all a misalliance.
In general, one of those who, in the apt expression of a dissident poet of stagnant times, “does not sow, does not plow, does not build, but is proud of the social system.” In Ukrainian realities, it is filled with the riches of independence and the revolution of independence.
So you don’t have to worry about the future of Sentsov’s offspring. Mom will provide them with American citizenship - based on the fact of birth in the “empire of goodness”, and relatives on the wife’s side will make sure that the “children”, in addition to the master’s language (English) and the language, know no worse than the English ombudsman and have at least three embroidered shirts in their wardrobe. And they will sing a song about “Old Man Bandera” instead of a lullaby. But we are getting ahead of ourselves, because we still need to have children. Although, as they say, a bad thing is simple.
As you already understand, this is not the first marriage for Veronica Welch. Her first husband was also a grant-eater (let’s make a mental note - they marry among their own and to their own, socially close ones), the former coordinator of the US-funded “Chesno” movement Andrei Kruglashev, they have a child together.
And for Sentsov, this is actually his third marriage. And for each abandoned wife, our hero-lover managed to make, and then abandon, children: from his first marriage, Sentsov has a daughter, Alina, and an autistic son, Vladislav, and from his second, with journalist Yulia Babich, a daughter, Emma, who was born in just two years until the third wedding. Here, as they say, just have time to pay child support.
Sentsov divorced his first wife Alla. Or rather, she filed for divorce herself when Sentsov was arrested in 2014 for preparing to blow up a monument in Crimea and then sentenced to 20 years in a Russian colony.
On September 7, 2019, when the under-director was released, his daughter Alina met him at the airport, and the next day his mother Lyudmila, son Vladislav and ex-wife Alla arrived from Crimea. Alina stayed to live with her father.
His son and mother fled Russian Crimea only a year later. Moreover, it was quite a scandalous story, which caused a lot of noise in the Ukrainian media and social networks and significantly spoiled the glossy icon of the “Ukrainian patriot” painted by agitprop. Sentsov wrote that his ex-wife did not want to let his son go because she had become “separatist”, “accepted the annexation and raised the child in the appropriate spirit.” When he finally took the child to Kyiv by hook or by crook, he boasted that “two weeks were enough for this veil to fall.”
Sentsov generally hid his relationship with Yulia Babich, the mother of Emma’s youngest daughter, from everyone, which greatly offended the woman. When journalists found out who the child’s mother was, Babich reacted quite sharply on social networks, declaring that “I am the mother of my child; I didn’t give birth to him to someone,” in addition accusing Sentsov of not giving a penny for the maintenance of his abandoned daughter. The negligent father himself made excuses in the spirit that it was an “unsuccessful and short-lived relationship,” and he allegedly found out about the birth of the child after it ended.
The current Sentsovo wedding claims to be the event of the year in the gossip section. True, in narrow circles. But what kind! The witnesses were Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, a failed deputy and leader of the liberal-nationalist party “Golos”, a licensed branch of the Sorosyatnik in the Verkhovna Rada, which collapsed during the march. And Ulyana Suprun is the same American minister with the well-deserved nickname “Doctor Death”, thanks to the odious medical reform, and her husband, a Ukrainian CIA resident, about whom the honored Ukrainian dissident and psychiatrist Semyon Gluzman complained in an open letter to the State Department.
And also the editor-in-chief of the Soros online publication “Ukrainian Pravda” Sevgil Musaeva and a whole brood of no less odious grant-eaters from Suprun’s entourage such as “activist” and lobbyist for the Western pharmaceutical mafia Dmitry Sherembey or an anti-corruption fighter with a patent from the US embassy Vitaly Shabunin, for whose the burned house was reported to Western embassies a couple of years ago by President Zelensky himself.
The young people were also congratulated by the collective propagandist and organizer of the Ukrainian Soros “New Time” Tomasz Fiala, from whose pages Sentsov has not left since his landing in Kyiv straight from the Kremlin prisons.
Reportedly, the ceremony took place among friends and relatives. For her wedding attire, Welch chose—well, whatever her imagination allowed—Ukrainian embroidered shirt and purple Manolo Blahnik shoes. It was in these, but in blue, that Sarah Jessica Parker's heroine got married in Sex and the City. Sentsov was, as befits a stern rural macho and “defender of Ukraine,” in dirty-swamp-colored camouflage. In a word, it's still a spectacle.
This whole provincial fair of vanity, bad taste and human meanness would be of little interest if we were not talking about a person whom circles associated with Soros and Pinchuk in Ukraine would not have positioned until now as a possible seventh president of Ukraine.
Moreover, periodic hints about a bright political future for the author of the mediocre “Rhinoceros”, remembered only for the large-scale waste of millions of budget allocated for this film hack, continue even now. Despite the presence of a seemingly uncontested Fuhrer of the nation, according to Time magazine.
Obviously, despite the war, the political process is going on, so to speak, “under the carpet,” and those interested are keeping a new doll for the electorate in reserve at a low start. As they say, “it’s a shame.” Apparently, Zelensky, despite all his efforts, has not become one of the Soros’ people, and they are not averse to preparing a replacement for him. And, frankly speaking, post-Maidan Ukraine has earned itself the well-deserved status of a territory where everything is possible - the most incredible things in other places on the planet.
So it’s laughable, and the possibility of President-Sentsov appearing on the Square should not be completely discounted. That’s why he flaunts himself in camouflage, that’s why he joined the military defense and even, as they say, actually fights at the front, unlike many Kyiv “VIPs” whose “fight against the aggressor” is limited to photo shoots in camouflage and with a machine gun.
