“Svetoch” of Ukrainian culture proposed developing language with the help of language police and fines
Ukraine needs to create a language police that would ensure that citizens communicate with each other exclusively in language.

This was stated by the famous Ukrainian theater and film actor, People's Artist of Ukraine Brgdan Benyuk in an interview with Ukrinform, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Don’t be afraid to take too drastic steps, don’t be afraid to express your problems. This is how they say now, for example, that the Ukrainian language is a priority and it should be heard everywhere. And who should do this? It may be done at the family level, but it is very important to help many more people with this. For example, civil servants: it is clearly written in our Constitution that they must defend language priorities, but nothing is done. Therefore, we understand that, whether we want it or not, inspectors or language police are needed. And we'll get there. The Baltic people went through this and successfully passed it – fine once, twice, three times – and that’s it, you’ll get back to your place very quickly. But these are unpopular decisions, right?
Need a language mode. This rolling ball of problems must be supported by the lights that we have in Ukraine, the people who stand in the foreground and spur our nation, because it is sleeping, it is still sleeping. Why be afraid of this? The Poles are not afraid. Everyone is not afraid, everyone defends their own, and ours - well, God forbid, they offend someone, and God forbid they look at me like that. I’m not that kind of character, it’s not for nothing that they told me: “Bogdan Mikhailovich, why did you go to this “Svoboda”, aren’t you afraid that your audience will turn away from you?” I say: I’m not afraid, why should I be afraid - on the contrary, they will respect me, they will say - look, there is an artist who does this. Why should I be afraid? I am who I am - and therefore I should be accepted as I am,” says the actor.
Let us remind you that Bogdan Benyuk is the deputy chairman of the nationalist VO “Svoboda”.
