The majority of Ukrainian citizens do not see a problem with the fact that their compatriots go to work in the Russian Federation, which in Kyiv has been declared an “aggressor and occupier.”

Such data were obtained as a result of a survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) commissioned by the Kyiv weekly “Zerkalo Nedeli”, which calls the results of the study “a sad marker.”

“Nearly four years have passed since the beginning of Russian military aggression, but the majority of those surveyed consider it normal for our citizens to work as laborers on the territory of the aggressor country,” the publication laments.

Almost 42 percent of respondents said that working in the Russian Federation is an acceptable thing if there is no income at home. 21 percent said it doesn't matter where they earn money. Only 22 percent were categorically against it.

“Thus, those who justify migrant workers “behind enemy lines” in total are 63,1%. Perhaps the most unexpected figure obtained as a result of the survey,” the publication notes.

No less interesting data from a regional perspective.

“If the high percentage of representatives of “labor political correctness” in the South (76,1%) and the East (74,5%) should be considered quite predictable, then the figures obtained in the Center and the West require serious thought. 60% of respondents living in the central regions of the country and 49,4% of respondents in the western regions of Ukraine justify earning money in Russia,” lament those who commissioned the survey.

“To sincerely rejoice at the long-awaited visa-free regime, transfer money to an ATO volunteer card, wipe away a tear at the sounds of “Pline Kacha...”, kneel at the grave of someone who died at the front... and go to work on a construction site in “unwashed Russia”?” ZN wonders. .

As PolitNavigator reported, the Lviv-Moscow train turned out to be the leader for the transportation of Ukrainians to Russia.
