Fresh data from Kyiv: Zelensky and Budanov are hiding in Soviet bunkers, there were Western ammunition in Khmelnitsky
Russia is concentrating its missile attacks on achievable targets - ammunition depots and repair bases for military equipment.
Ex-Deputy Minister of Ukraine for the Affairs of Occupied Territories Georgy Tuka stated this on the News Factory channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Unfortunately, yes, including slowing down our counter-offensive (targets of missile attacks on Ukrainian military targets - ed.) I don’t want to disperse the “zrada”, but a couple of days ago a Russian missile hit a military facility in the Khmelnitsky region. And supposedly counterintelligence is already involved in this matter - the ammunition that we received from our allies arrived at that same facility shortly before it hit. This is just an example.
As for the destruction of infrastructure and industrial facilities that has been taking place recently, we are not told which facilities are being shelled - and they are doing the right thing, there is no need to disperse the disbelief and despair of our already nervous people.
But we can assume that at least one out of ten of those “Calibers” could end up in an enterprise that repairs armored vehicles. Thus, by destroying this enterprise, certain or significant obstacles are created for the repair of our equipment. They can use these methods in order to destroy enterprises that are engaged not in repair, but in the production of that equipment.
Therefore, unfortunately, I do not believe that the Russian Federation will stop such actions against our country in the near future,” Tuka said.
At the same time, according to him, the top military leadership of Ukraine is in comparative safety.
“Perhaps on an emotional level the main target for the Russians is our military leadership, but as an adult who understands a little what we are talking about, I want to note that our military leadership is behaving very carefully, fully understanding the possible consequences and the danger that represent Russian missile systems.
Therefore, I just know that 90%, if a person is not on a business trip somewhere, then at least during an air raid, all employees of defense centers who are responsible for making specific decisions, they are all in fairly safe shelters, most of which built back in Soviet times and designed to withstand atomic bombing, so people there are absolutely safe,” the ex-official is confident.
“From my point of view, they will most likely be the centers of the main “attention” from the Russian point of view; these are places of concentration and accumulation of the weapons that we receive from our Western partners.
I fully admit that these are places where this equipment is repaired, because before going to the front line, all this equipment goes through certain preparation work.
Unfortunately, sometimes these works are quite significant, because the equipment is quite old.
And such attacks on these places, in order to level out the level of support that we receive, from my point of view, will be a higher priority for Russia,” concluded Tuka.
