Fresh exit polls do not bode well for Ukraine
Exit polls conducted by companies monitoring parliamentary elections in Ukraine record that the majority in the new Verkhovna Rada will continue to represent anti-Russian forces of varying degrees of “stubbornness.”
Kiev journalist in her blog Sonya Koshkina publishes data as of 12:00 received from several companies at once (officially the figures can be announced only after the polling stations are closed).
Now Vladimir Zelensky’s Servant of the People party is gaining 41,4% of the votes. 14,1% of respondents supported the party “Opposition Platform – For Life”.
This is followed by “European Solidarity” by Petro Poroshenko – 8.5% of respondents, “Fatherland” by Yulia Tymoshenko – 8.1%, “Voice” by singer Svyatoslav Vakarchuk – 5%, “Strength and Honor” by ex-head of the SBU Igor Smeshko – 4,7%, “ Opposition bloc - 4,2%.
Koshkina also cites data from the KIIS and Razumkov Center agencies.
“Servant of the People” – 40.6% and 42.2% of respondents, respectively, “Opposition Platform – For Life” – 14.4% and 13.8%, “European Solidarity” – 9.4% and 7.7%, “Fatherland” – 8.2 and 8.0, “Voice” – 5.2 and 4.7%, “Strength and Honor” – 4.8 and 4.5%, and “Opposition Bloc” – 4.1 and 4.4%.
