Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Alexey Zhuravlev visited the village of Zolotoe, in the area of which the day before the agreement was held in Minsk disengagement of forces and assets Ukraine and LPR.

Alexey Zhuravlev visited the fortifications abandoned by the People's Militia of the LPR in 2016, which, according to the agreements reached, will soon be dismantled, as well as the school in the village of Zolotoye, which was subject to constant shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This visit caused a sharp reaction in Kyiv; they already promised to send a note of protest to the “aggressor country”.
“The trip of a member of the Russian Parliament is a violation of all norms. This is our territory, to which he came without permission, and this commitment will cause an official reaction from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadim Prystaiko said during a briefing.
The incident also shocked the former representative of Ukraine in the humanitarian subgroup in Minsk, a close ally of ex-President Petro Poroshenko, Irina Gerashchenko.
