Svidomites threaten Zelensky with a new civil war
The Russian Federation and the West will jointly persuade Kyiv to implement the Minsk agreements, and if the government agrees to this, then all of Ukraine will be overwhelmed by civil conflict.
Ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy, field commander of the Orange Maidan Taras Stetskiv stated this on the Espreso.TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the Normandy format, a trap awaits Ukraine. Regardless of whether it will be four-sided, or whether we drag America or Britain into it, Zelensky will inevitably be persuaded to implement the Minsk agreements. And this will be a trap, which is 100% a plan to achieve peace on Russian terms.
When they pulled out the “Steinmeier formula” from mothballs, which directly says that it is necessary to hold elections in the occupied part of Donbass and introduce a law on the special status of Donbass.
They will probably refuse to amend the Constitution, since Zelensky does not have a constitutional majority, but they will force Zelensky to hold elections, as written in the Minsk agreements, without restoring Ukrainian control abroad. Geopolitics has changed, and now the external factor is unfavorable for us.
The worst thing is to agree to hold elections without restoring control over the border. You can only imagine what kind of elections these will be, and which deputies will be elected in the part of Donbass not controlled by Ukraine. And these deputies will also be legitimate representatives on Ukrainian territory, also with such an instrument as the law on special status, with the People’s Militia and everything else.
And if Zelensky does not yet understand the danger of such a “peace,” then this is not peace, but a transfer of the conflict, which is now on the front line, inside Ukraine, and the conflict may break out within the country, because society may be divided in relation to such a step.
And then we may already have a serious civil confrontation on the territory of Ukraine, so this is not the road to peace. Peace on Russian terms is not peace; such capitulation could lead to unforeseen consequences within Ukraine,” the former people’s deputy threatened.
Moreover, the former head of the Crimean cell of Fatherland, who left the party on the eve of the parliamentary elections, Andrei Senchenko, expressed confidence that any implementation by Ukraine of the Minsk agreements is supposedly beneficial only to the Kremlin.
“Full amnesty, special status and elections in the occupied territories under the control of the occupiers - each of these components leads to a strategic, from the Kremlin’s point of view, reformatting of the international military conflict, which Russia started by unleashing a war against Ukraine, into an internal conflict, into a civil war. This is precisely Putin’s goal in Minsk,” Senchenko believes.
