“Svidomo” could not find a vote in the Verkhovna Rada for a visa regime with the Russian Federation – Putin’s machinations are traditionally to blame
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has not yet reached a majority to introduce legislation on a visa regime with Russia. Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Culture and Spirituality Mikola Knyazhitsky stated this on the air of the Ukrainian Channel Five.

“Today there is no majority support in the room. Other options were discussed. For example, entry into Ukraine is only with biometric passports. The Russian side, the aggressor side, is very afraid of these steps and categorically opposes them. Their arguments reach the ears of our officials, which is why we do not have a visa regime,” Knyazhitsky complained.
He also complained that the media are trying to discredit the project of his party chief Arseniy Yatsenyuk - “The Wall,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Corruption is one thing, and strengthening the Russian-Ukrainian border is another,” Knyazhitsky said.
