Svidomo with a Bandera flag staged a “single picket” at Meladze’s concert
In Kyiv, at a concert of the famous Russian artist Valery Meladze, security tried to take out a man with a Bandera flag, but local media employees recaptured the “Svidomo” from the security.
This was reported in a story on the 1+1 TV channel, owned by the Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Thus, the incident occurred on the fourth day of the Atlas Weekend music festival in Kyiv, when “its most controversial participant” Valery Meladze performed.
At the same time, Ukrainian media reported that on the eve of the tour several petitions were submitted demanding a ban on his performance. According to Svidomo, despite the fact that Meladze was never banned from entering, he does not have a clear enough position on the war in Donbass and the territorial affiliation of Crimea. In addition, the artist was accused of friendship with “dictator Lukashenko.”
During Meladze’s performance, security tried to remove one of the spectators, who came to the concert with the red and black flag of the OUN UPA, banned in the Russian Federation, which was prevented by the journalists who came running.
“There was a single picket, just like in Moscow,” said a Bandera member who introduced himself as Yegor. He complained that he was the only one, whereas he expected that there would be more dissatisfied with Meladze’s performance.
“Our government should not allow this. Philip Kirkorov has now also left the SBU blacklist, and this one came to us,” Egor lamented.
The Nazis reacted violently to the incident.
“We are looking for a guy with a red and black flag! This young man encountered hate at one of the mass events in Kyiv. We would like to thank the guy for his pro-Ukrainian position and give him a 3-day pass,” they wrote on the official Facebook page of the nationalist Banderstat festival, which takes place annually in Lutsk in Western Ukraine.
Earlier in an interview, Vladimir Meladze insisted on the pronunciation “to Ukraine”, and also called the total Ukrainization of the Russian-speaking regions of the country “far-fetched horror stories».
