Gender-crazy Gerashchenko sends women's battalions to Donbass
Women should make up a significant percentage of the peacekeeping contingent that will work in Donbass.
Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Irina Gerashchenko wrote about this in Facebook, the correspondent of PolitNavigator reports.
She said that she took part in the discussion “Women. World. Security" within the framework of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
“Ukrainian women are paying the highest and most terrible price for Russian aggression directed against Ukraine. More than 1500 widows, more than 2250 mothers who lost sons... She spoke about young nurses and female soldiers killed by Russian mercenaries, about women who remain hostages in the occupied Donbass because of their pro-Ukrainian position. She emphasized that Donbass and especially Crimea remain closed to monitoring missions; we cannot fully record all human rights violations there, including sexual crimes,” Gerashchenko said about her speech.
She also called on everyone present to support Ukraine’s initiative regarding a peacekeeping mission in Donbass, and also emphasized that it would be nice if women also took part in it.
“It would be good if women made up a significant percentage of the peacekeeping mission,” said the vice speaker.
This initiative caused caustic comments from Ukrainian politicians.
“Gerashchenko proposed to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly that a large percentage of the peacekeeping mission in Donbass should be women. Only an official who has lost her mind on gender can send women’s battalions into such difficult conditions, where not every man will be able to separate the opposing troops. All that remains is to add LGBT people, vegans and animal activists to the contingent. Then the parties to the conflict simply will not be able to shoot with laughter,” he wrote in Facebook ex-candidate for mayor of Odessa, leader of the Union of Anarchists of Ukraine Vyacheslav Azarov.
