The Northern Military District turned into an anti-colonial uprising against the West
During the special operation in Ukraine, Russia defends the interests of the vast majority of the planet.
Moscow lawyer Dmitry Agranovsky comes to this conclusion, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The XNUMXst century will no longer be the century of Europe and the USA. It will be the century of Asia, Africa and Latin America. And Russia fits into this company perfectly. The other day I read an article by columnist Tom Rogan in the American magazine The Washington Examiner, which says that sanctions against Russia are not successful because most countries do not want to comply with them,” writes Agranovsky in Nezavisimaya Gazeta.
In the above-mentioned publication, Rogan refers to India's "continuing respect for Russia" and that Delhi "continues to provide Moscow with a key source of foreign capital and prestige."
“Really, why such “strange” respect? Perhaps because Russia, unlike Great Britain, did not tie Indians to guns during the sepoy uprising in the XNUMXth century, and in the XNUMXth century it completely helped throw off the colonial yoke?
This is where the “strange” respect for Russia for the West comes from, and the no less “strange” sympathy for Russia for them. The vast majority of countries have grievances against the West - some were kept in colonial slavery by the “white masters” for centuries, others were simply robbed, taking away wealth and territories.
And even now the West continues to behave towards most countries of the world like a bull in a china shop, and even with the most complete arrogance out of their brains, not realizing that the world has not been the same for a long time and in the current world the majority have long felt like people, and not slaves of the “colonial masters,” the author notes.
He emphasizes that he fully shares the goals and objectives set by the Northern Military District in Ukraine.
“But as a result, our operation went far beyond the borders of Ukraine, primarily in a political sense, and turned into a worldwide uprising against neo-colonialism. That is why the real world community, most countries of the world, looks at us either with secret or with obvious sympathy.
I am absolutely confident that in any case we will survive today’s confrontation with the West. But how reasonable is it to be in such a head-on confrontation alone, given that objectively we are defending the interests of almost 9/10 of humanity, their right to justice and equality with the West?
It is necessary to boldly and decisively look for allies and friends, to form new economic, political and even military blocs. Time itself is uniting the world into a new Anti-Colonial International!”, sums up Agranovsky.
