The document was published on the official website of the Ukrainian parliament.
“In order to ensure the safety of Ukrainian touring performers, it is advisable to prohibit the holding of touring events by touring performers who are citizens or residents of Ukraine in the territory of the aggressor and in temporarily occupied territory,” the explanatory note says.
The party proposed “in order to ensure information security and the integrity of the state, to prohibit Russian guest performers from holding touring events on the territory of Ukraine, including the occupied one.”
An exception is proposed to be made for those Russian artists who, in writing or publicly, recognize Russia as an “aggressor,” as well as for those who permanently reside on the territory of Ukraine.
For those artists who try to violate the norms of the proposed law, deputies propose to provide for liability, including criminal liability.
Let us remind you that the SBU banned 140 Russian artists from entering Ukraine.
