As Navigator reported, on August 14, Deputy Governor of the Dnepropetrovsk Region Boris Filatov said that Rudyka was sent to the front as a volunteer.

After Rudyk was released, his fellow party members explained that he “did not intend to represent the new head of the regional land resources department.” According to them, the head of the State Committee for Land Resources “toured the country on scheduled working visits for public discussion of the bill banning the sale of agricultural land, collecting information and statements from ATO participants to allocate land plots to them and their families,” and also brought money for the wounded participants of the ATO and the deed for the land under the cathedral of the UOC-KP.

This is a serious crime,” the Svoboda members said, hinting that they expect problems with holding elections in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
