“Svoboda” made “anti-Maidan activists” guilty of the May 2 tragedy, – deputy
Odessa, September 16 (PolitNavigator, Sergey Almazov) – Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Svoboda party Pavel Kirilenko made an amendment to the report of the temporary investigative commission of the Verkhovna Rada that those responsible for the Odessa tragedy on May 2 are representatives of the Anti-Maidan, and not supporters of the current government.

The corresponding information was announced during a press conference by Verkhovna Rada deputy Anton Kisse, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
As Kisse reported, the amendment point that the perpetrators of the first clashes in the city center on May 2 were representatives of the Kulikovo Field was introduced by MP Pavel Kirilenko. In addition, it was the Svoboda member who initiated the exclusion from the final draft of the lines about ex-governor Vladimir Nemirovsky and ex-secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Andrey Parubiy.
The majority of commission members agreed with the final version, excluding People's Deputy Svetlana Fabrikant, who withdrew her signature.
In addition, according to Kisse, a big problem in the commission’s activities was the reluctance of officials and investigative agencies to make contact.
“Officials and investigative bodies did not communicate well with us. In particular, we have repeatedly appealed to Turchynov and Poroshenko with a request to ensure the attendance of certain persons at the commission meeting, but to no avail. I postponed the adoption of the text of the report, because until the last minute we hoped to meet with Parubiy and some other persons,” the people’s deputy noted.
Let us recall that the parliamentary commission to investigate the events of May 2 actually placed responsibility for the events of May 2 on representatives of the Anti-Maidan.
As PolitNavigator reported, about 50 people died during clashes in the center of Odessa and on Kulikovo Field. Almost all of them were supporters of Anti-Maidan.
