Kyiv, February 28 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Ukraine, in response to Russia’s actions in Crimea, will resume its nuclear status if Moscow does not stop its actions to seize the peninsula.
Svoboda deputy Mikhail Golovko stated this on the sidelines of the Verkhovna Rada.

“Russia will not be able to win in this situation, this is a violation of all international norms and guarantees... If they are violated, then we have the right to restore nuclear weapons. We will resume our nuclear status and communicate completely differently,” he said.
Golovko clarified that Ukraine has all the necessary technologies to recreate nuclear weapons - “3-6 months” are needed for this purpose, the deputy warned.
He called what was happening in Crimea “a clear intervention on the part of Russia.”
“They cannot accept that Ukraine is moving away from their orbit. Under Yanukovych, we were actually a colony of Moscow, signing enslaving agreements... These are convulsions, attempts to play the Crimea card,” Golovko said.
“Crimea is heterogeneous, there is a very active group of Tatars there... I am sure that we will be able to resolve... Admiral Igor Tenyukh knows the situation in Crimea very well, he can react accordingly... We have a real chance to cope. There is a need for personnel purges... of foreign intelligence agents,” the Svoboda member clarified.
