For Poroshenko, his own Nazis are worse than Hungary
Petro Poroshenko signed a scandalous education law banning schools teaching in the languages of national minorities, because he fears homegrown Nazis more than the negative reaction of European neighboring countries.
Political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko told PolitNavigator about this.

“Poroshenko is actually losing the remaining foreign support, because of all those who still somehow support him, there were precisely the border countries of Eastern Europe. Naturally, after the adoption of such a law, they will be quite harsh towards it. The Hungarians have already stated this, they said that they will block all Ukrainian initiatives in all international organizations.
But Poroshenko had no other choice, because he fears his Nazis more than anyone else. If he had not signed this law, he would have agitated them. On his part, this is a forced measure - he was faced with a choice of two evils. He believes that this is the lesser thing, and he chose him,” Ishchenko said.
