By putting forward its peace plan for Ukraine, China announced its participation in the future determination of the world order.
Ukrainian military expert Oleg Starikov stated this in an interview with Kyiv anti-Russian propagandist Alexander Shelest, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Starikov, China will participate in the creation of a new security architecture after the conflict in Ukraine is resolved.
“What is China doing now? China decided to occupy, that is, it already occupies, as the second country in a bipolar world, because the world was monopolar, now even the Americans say that the world is bipolar, as the second country in military and economic power at the level of the United States, it decided to occupy its niche in resolving issues related to the creation of a new security architecture, which will be created according to the conference that I am talking about, the Ukrainian conference at the end of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
This will be a big conference about new security. “Helsinki 2.0”, maybe “Istanbul 2.0”. The security architecture will be new,” the expert said.
“In my opinion, China has decided that it is attracting the countries of the so-called “global South” to its side. And this is 6,3 billion [of the population]. In China there are 3 billion, in India one and a half billion, in Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Malaysia, and the Republic of South Africa,” Starikov said.
