This was stated in a conversation with a PolitNavigator correspondent by Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Opposition Bloc Yevgeny Muraev, according to whom the situation around Gennady Korban is a certain tactical move.
“I would not directly connect this with the elections,” the politician noted. – This is a showdown, let’s say, in the right camp and a kind of PR on the part of the president. Everyone sees the incapacity of law enforcement agencies and the prosecutor’s office.”
The people's deputy believes that Korban was simply chosen to play the role of another “sacred victim.”
“In a year and a half, the authorities have learned to do them in order to somehow keep their constantly falling ratings afloat,” summed up Evgeniy Muraev.
