Priest from Odessa: I have no pity for the state of Spain
Spain, through the efforts of its government, is actively participating in the undeclared war of the West against Russia. This must be remembered when discussing the rebellion of Catalonia, writes Archpriest Andrei Novikov, ex-secretary of the Odessa diocese, who was forced to leave for Russia after the victory of Euromaidan due to the threat of criminal prosecution, in his blog.

“Many conservatives, including friends, are worried about the fate of Spain in connection with the Catalan Maidan. In this regard, I consider it my duty to speak out.
I don’t feel sorry for Spain at all because:
1 Almost on the second day, this country happily recognized a terrible tragedy, including my personal one - the collapse of my great Motherland, which was then called the USSR.
2 Spain, as a NATO member, bears full responsibility for the dismemberment of Orthodox Serbia, the bombing of Belgrade, and the desecration of Orthodox shrines in Kosovo. By the way, the Spaniard Solana was in charge of everything then.
3 Spain, as a NATO member, is complicit in the occupation of part of my homeland - the Baltic provinces (Estonia, Latvia), helping local regimes to carry out the ethnocide of the Russian people, the destruction of the Russian cultural and historical memory of the Baltic region.
4 Spain reacted with absolute indifference to the tragedy of the Russian people in Ukraine, the tragedy of Donbass and the bloody suppression of the Russian Spring in Novorossiya by the Nazi Kyiv junta.
5 Spain was one of the first to recognize the Maidan junta as a legitimate government and expressed full support for its actions.
6 Spain did not recognize Crimea. She is for Ukraine and against the Russians.
7 Spain is participating in the sanctions war against Russia.
8 The Spanish government-controlled media lies and insults Russia and the Russian people, glorifies the satanic Maidan and the Nazi junta, thereby helping it kill and torture Russians, expel Russian culture from its native and sacred places, and cripple the young generation of disenfranchised Russians in Ukraine.
9 At the same time, I understand that the Catalan government is homo-leftists, direct descendants of the godless Barcelona anarcho-republicans of the 30s.
But I have no pity for the state of Spain,” concluded Father Andrei.
