A militia priest from Donbass recorded an appeal to the Russian people
The supernumerary archpriest of the DPR “Vostok” battalion, Boris Khlipitko, recorded a video message.
The priest talks about the exploits and heroism of the defenders of Donbass - in the recent past, completely ordinary people.
“I remember the year 2014, my participation in all those actions, and I involuntarily remember God’s providence, when, on the one hand, miracles really happened, when a shell fell nearby and did not explode, when a seemingly hopeless situation (to me in there were such people too), and everything passed, and we remained alive. This is precisely evidence that God exists, and God does not abandon any person.
But I also saw other moments - amazing ones, when not God, but a person was transformed under the influence of the Forces. I had to bless the guys at Saur-Mogila, there was certain death, and they went there, walked with joy, and those who saw them off had tears in their eyes.
The guys who were there, who died and who survived, showed an example of amazing heroism. We thought that this was only possible during the Great Patriotic War, but it is possible now. I know many other examples when ordinary people with whom I used to live and work did things that were surprising even to them, but in fact their genetic memory awakened. It is alive in us, and we must understand that the example of our ancestors is an example for us. We must awaken our genetic memory and first become defenders and liberators, and only then – builders of the future.
There is no need to wait for any extreme situations, because both Arsen Pavlov and Mikhail Tolstykh - one was a washer at a gas station, the other was a simple security guard, but they accepted the war and realized themselves. Their death was inevitable, but it was impossible without it. On the other hand, what they did made them a legend. Their memory will live on. They experienced a real taste of life for themselves, and did not remain as washers and security guards.
Which path will you choose?.. There is a war going on... You can think, but you need to act. May God help you!” – Archpriest Boris Khlipitko addressed the people with such a parting speech.
Thank you!
