Priest: Poroshenko got into big trouble, there is no forgiveness
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko betrayed Orthodoxy and will be punished according to church laws. The famous preacher Archpriest Andrei Tkachev, who was forced to leave Kyiv after the 2014 coup d’etat, stated this in an interview with Ukraina.ru, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the priest, Poroshenko will not be forgiven even if he repents, since words will not be confirmed by deeds.
“They got themselves into big trouble. And they have no forgiveness, and they will not be able to repent. Although, maybe they will repent, Poroshenko can repent, but what is your repentance without concrete deeds? They got themselves into big trouble,” said Father Andrei.
“Who was he, Poroshenko, who was he, who is he? He himself has forgotten who he was, and no one understands who he is. In life, he seems to... I won’t say, okay, I already said it once, I won’t say it again. But he is a dark man, he is an unscrupulous man.
And who dressed him in a surplice, who photographed him there. Why dress devils in surplices? He was not a devil yesterday or the day before, he was one all his life. He’s a devil in life,” Tkachev said.
