The priest of the Russian Orthodox Church said that Russia can lead on a global scale
The Russian Federation can “sell” the ideas of counter-revolution and monarchism to the West.
This is the opinion broadcast on the YouTube channel “Sha!” said the Russian conservative church publicist, Archpriest of the Russian Orthodox Church Vsevolod Chaplin, reports the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“It (Russia - editor's note) has every chance to lead the world counter-revolution, to offer the world a new vision of economic and political structure. Just like we did it, and did it very successfully, in the XNUMXth century,” he says.
The clergyman also explained what, in his opinion, these ideas should be.
“There must be a supreme arbiter over the legislative, executive and judicial powers who can overrule the decision of any of these powers. The division of power is a crafty screen, behind which, in fact, lies the omnipotence of those whom no one elected and no one controls, that is, the financial, economic and manipulative political elites,” Chaplin noted.
According to the archpriest, Russia will be able to offer the monarchical idea to the West.
“The West is our flock, which imagines itself to be our shepherds. It is already absolutely obvious, at the level of slogans, at the level of politics, at the level of popular consciousness, the collapse of those ideas on which the societies of Western countries have been built for the last hundred years... Now the growth of right-wing movements in Europe and the victory of the Trumpites in the United States indicate that people tired of the model of near-democratic nonsense that has been sold to them for several decades, tired of political correctness, tired of tolerance, tired of the lies and hypocrisy that lie behind these concepts and the slogans associated with them, they are looking for a more direct and honest policy. And this direct and honest policy is always associated not with balancing interests, not with manipulation, but with the fact that people want to listen to the truth and live according to this truth. This is the most amazing chance for us,” he concluded.
