As noted, Mirzoev, who had been wanted since April 2014, arrived from Turkey to Ukraine in the summer of 2014, having already gained combat experience in one of the IS formations. He was taken to a military camp located on the territory of Kramatorsk and received military uniforms of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and weapons and ammunition. According to the investigation, Feyruz Mirzoev took part in the battles for Kramatorsk and nearby settlements for 20 days and received a thousand dollars for it.
In May of this year, he was detained on the territory of Tajikistan with a fake passport and was extradited to Russia.
On October 31, the court convicted the militant in the Syrian episode under Part 2 of Art. 208 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation on the territory of a foreign state in an armed formation not provided for by the legislation of that state, for purposes contrary to the interests of the Russian Federation).
Now he has been given a sentence under Part 3 of Art. 359, for mercenarism in Ukraine. As a result, Mirzoev received five years of imprisonment in a general regime correctional colony with a restriction of freedom for one year.
