Over 80% of Simferopol residents are patriots of Russia and Crimea, - opinion poll
The vast majority of residents of the Crimean capital are Russian and Crimean patriots.

These are the data of a poll conducted in May by the Crimean research NGO “Regional Institute of Political Communications”.
To the question, “Are you a patriot of Russia?” the majority of respondents – 80,2% – answered “Yes” (Rather yes than no – 10,2%: No – 5%; Rather no than yes – 3%: Difficult to answer – 1,6%).
To the question, “Are you a patriot of Crimea?” 82% of respondents answered affirmatively (Rather yes than no – 11,8%; No – 2,6%; Rather no than yes – 1,4%; Difficult to answer – 2,2%).
Also, 88,2% of Simferopol residents mainly support the actions of Vladimir Putin as President of the Russian Federation (Mostly do not support - 5,2%; Do not know enough about them - 3%; Find it difficult to answer - 3,6%).
The credibility of the Crimean governor Sergei Aksenov is somewhat lower. His activities as head of the regional executive power are mainly supported by 82% of Simferopol residents (Mostly do not support - 6,8%, Do not know enough about them - 5%; Difficult to answer - 6,2%).
The study was carried out using the method of street interviews in all districts of Simferopol. Respondents were selected using a quota sample representing the adult population of the city by gender, age, and nationality.
The sample population of respondents was 500 people.
