This was announced by Avakov’s lawyer Andrei Fedur, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“NABU returned his passports and he deposited them with the Migration Service. We conscientiously fulfill all duties assigned to us by the court. Although, personally, I do not agree with the court’s decision - I do not see it advisable to choose any preventive measure in this case,” Fedur said.
On November 1, the Solomensky District Court chose a preventive measure for the son of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov, Alexander, in the form of a personal obligation to wear an electronic means of control. Also, personal commitment was given to two other defendants in the “backpack case”: the former deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the third suspect, Vladimir Lytvyn.
