Makarevich’s son will not receive Russian citizenship
The newborn son of rock musician Andrei Makarevich will not receive Russian citizenship.
The young wife of the 60-year-old singer, Einat Klein (Inna Kalinina), stated this in an interview with Ksenia Sobchak, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I think it's safer for him at the moment. The main thing is why? Israeli citizenship covers all 99,9% of his needs. He will not be able to travel to Sudan or Chad. But maybe later he can. For me, Israel is the only safe country for me. Because my ancestors lived in both Ukraine and Russia, and it always ended badly,” Klein said.
At the same time, Makarevich walked nearby and did not comment on his wife’s decision. He recently stated that the show business stars who fled the country after the start of a special operation in Ukraine “are Russia,” and those who remained are “assholes.”
