Yanukovych’s son: I’m not building anything in Donetsk, but preparing objects for winter
Kyiv, December 04 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In the company of the son of ex-president Alexander Yanukovych, they refute the information of the National Security and Defense Council about the extension of construction work at sites in Donetsk and explain that they are only preserving it for the winter.

Let us recall that earlier the Information and Analytical Center of the National Security and Defense Council reported that in Donetsk, despite constant shelling and destruction of infrastructure, the construction of residential and office premises by the MAKO company, which belongs to Alexander Yanukovych, continues.
“The IACS Group is disappointed with the tone of the statement by the speaker of the Information Center Andrey Lysenko regarding the implementation of the Group’s construction projects in Donetsk. In this regard, we would like to note that all construction work at these sites was suspended, which the Group notified investors and the public about on August 04 of this year,” the company’s press service reported.
IACS stated that at construction sites in Donetsk “exclusively work is being carried out aimed at completing the mothballing of facilities and their technical support during the winter.”
“The Group regards Mr. Lysenko’s statement as another attempt to exert political pressure on the MAKO shareholder and his business,” the press service said.
